Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern the legal relationship relating to the use of the Newsmedia.az platform (hereinafter "Platform"). By using the platform, you are deemed to have accepted these terms in full.
1. Purpose of the Platform
Newsmedia.az is a digital media platform providing news, analytical materials and editorial content from Azerbaijan and around the world. Use of the platform's content is permitted for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
2. User Obligations
By using the platform, you undertake to:
- Comply with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Not damage the platform's infrastructure;
- Not reproduce, distribute or use the platform's content for commercial purposes without permission;
- Observe norms of ethical conduct towards other users.
3. Prohibited Actions
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Abuse of the platform's technical capabilities, including data collection by automated means (bots, scrapers);
- Distribution of malicious software (viruses, spyware);
- Deceiving or manipulating other users;
- Sharing content prohibited by law;
- Carrying out attacks that disrupt the normal operation of the platform.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the platform — articles, photographs, graphics, logo, design elements — is the exclusive property of Newsmedia.az and is protected by applicable copyright legislation.
Quotation of platform content is permitted only with clear attribution of the source and covering no more than 20% of the main content.
5. Third-Party Links
The platform may contain links to external sites. Newsmedia.az bears no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or activities of those sites. You follow external links at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
Newsmedia.az is not liable for:
- Temporary unavailability of the platform;
- Data lost as a result of technical faults;
- Damage arising from a user's incorrect use of information from the platform.
The platform is provided "as is", without any warranties.
7. Suspension of Access
Newsmedia.az reserves the right to restrict or completely suspend access for any user found to have violated these terms, without prior notice.
8. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Any disputes arising from these terms fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
9. Changes to Terms
Newsmedia.az reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the platform. By continuing to use the platform, you are deemed to have accepted the updated terms.
